Kaanchi trailer: Is this really Subhash Ghai's comeback?

Subhash Ghai returns to direction after five years with Kaanchi -- The Unbreakable, which looks like a typical 90s Ghai film. But does it work currently? Well, we can't really be all affirmative here. Yes, the trailer of the film is out and frankly it didn't really excite us. The film stars Ghai's latest muse -- Mishti, playing the role of a rebellious woman, who wants to change the system.

She looks all pretty and nice, but her acting skills don't appear to be natural at all. Then the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor Kartik Tiwari, is cast opposite Mishti in the film. Kaanchi also stars Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles, which seems to be the only attraction in the film. The film will have those typical Subhash Ghai elements, we are sure.

All said and done, we aren't really impressed with the trailer at all, but then we can't really judge a film on it's trailer, hai na? Anyway, watch the trailer here and tell us your thoughts about it.
