Irish actor Pierce Brosnan, know for playing iconic British spy James Bond in three films, may have indirectly endorsed many brands from Smirnoff to Omega watches through his films, but this is the first time that the dapper actor has been seen endorsing an Indian brand.

Since the past few hours, pics of Pierce endorsing a well-known Pan Masala brand with the tag line "class never goes out of sryle" have cropped up at many places and needless to say, social media wits are having a great time cracking jokes over it with gleeful relish.

Some of the jokes doing the rounds are 'From Smirnoff to Pan Masala', 'Bond likes his Pan Masala shaken, not stirred' and 'Bond actor finally gets the license to kill for real'.

Wonder what this endorsement will do for Brosnan's suave and debonair image...
