13 सितंबर को बहराइच में विसर्जन जुलूस के दौरान बवाल हुआ और रामगोपाल नाम के एक युवक की हत्या कर दी गई.. और 17 सितंबर यानि गुरुवार को पुलिस ने बहराइच के मुजरिमों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया.. इसमें से 2 आरोपियों सरफराज और तालिब के साथ पुलिस का एनकाउंटर हुआ. एनकाउंटर की खबर सामने आई तो इस पर राजनीति भी शुरु हो गई.
