Independence Day 2004 Special: जब Veerappan का हुआ था Encounter, मनमोहन सिंह बने थे पीएम

साल 2004, कुख्यात तस्कर और हत्यारे वीरप्पन का इनकाउंटर इसी साल हुआ. 338 राउंड हुई फायरिंग में वीरप्पन को मौत के घाट उतारा गया था. चौंकाने वाली बात ये थी कि इसमें से सिर्फ 2 गोलियां ही वीरप्पन को लगी थी. वीरप्पन की मौत की खबर सुनकर तमिलनाडु की तत्कालीन सीएम जयललिता ने कहा था कि, मुख्यमंत्री रहते हुए उन्हें इससे अच्छी खबर कभी नहीं मिली.

The encounter of the infamous smuggler and killer Veerappan took place this year. Veerappan was put to death in 338 rounds of firing. The shocking thing was that out of this only 2 bullets hit Veerappan. Upon hearing the news of Veerappan's death, the then Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa had said that she never got any better news than this while being the Chief Minister.
