लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 के बीच पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह ने खुली चिट्ठी लिखकर कई मसलों को लेकर मौजूदा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर गंभीर आरोप लगाये हैं. इस चिट्ठी में मनमोहन सिंह ने लिखा है कि पहले किसी भी पीएम ने किसी खास वर्ग का विपक्ष को निशाना बनाने के लिए घृणित और असंसदीय शब्दों का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया है. मनमोहन सिंह ने अग्निवीर योजना को लेकर भी बीजेपी सरकार पर निशाना साधा और कहा कि बीजेपी की सरकार देशभक्ति की उम्र सिर्फ 4 साल ही समझती है.
