1999 में हुई करगिल वॉर. आज से 23 साल पहले भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच हुए इस युद्ध को याद कर आज भी उन शहीदों का चेहरा याद आ जाता है, जिन्होंने इस जंग में हमारी धरती मां के लिए अपनी जान दे दी. करगिल युद्ध की शुरुआत 1999 के मई में हुई थी और इसके लिए भारतीय सेना ने ऑपरेशन विजय चलाया था. 26 जुलाई 1999 को उस वक्त के प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी ने इस युद्ध में भारत की जीत का ऐलान किया था.

The Kargil war started in May of 1999 and for this the Indian Army launched Operation Vijay. On 26 July 1999, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee declared India's victory in this war.
