कारगिल से लद्दाख तक भारतीय सेना की क्षमता लगातार बढ़ रही है.. एयरफोर्स ने C130J सुपर हर्क्यूलस विमान को रात के समय में करगिल हवाई पट्टी पर उतारने में सफलता हासिल की है. वायुसेना ने पहली बार कारगिल में रात के समय लैंडिंग की और उसमें सवार गरुड़ कमांडोज ने अंधेरे में उतरकर सैन्य कार्रवाई का अभ्यास किया.. लाइन ऑफ कंट्रोल से कुछ किलोमीटर की दूरी पर हुआ वायुसेना का ये अभ्यास चीन-पाकिस्तान में भी जरूर देखा गया होगा.
