This whirling, twirling woman displays both agility and stamina in this tribal fire dance at the Jaisalmer Desert Festival. The bowls she is manipulating start off containing recently lit coals but soon become blazing embers. The actual dance was quite lengthy. It's amazing how the woman keeps her balance! The dance itself can even be dangerous, as a few years back we saw a woman's sari catch fire. The fire, however, was quickly put out, and no was harm done.
