DIY Moisturizing Avocado and Pumpkin Hair Mask for Dry Curly Hair!

Hi Guys!
Today I will be showing you how to make an easy moisturizing hair mask! I am really excited about this video because it is my very first recorded DIY video! Since it is autumn and pumpkins are popular right now I decided to research the benefits of using pumpkins for our hair. It turns out that pumpkins are packed with vitamin A and potassium which is ideal for your hair and scalp. With that said I decided to pamper my hair with a moisturizing avocado and pumpkin hair mask! It is really easy to make!

Here is what you will need:
1 small pumpkin (you can purchase from your local grocery store)
1 avocado (I prefer a REALLY ripe avocado)
1 Tablespoon of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
1 Tablespoon of honey
water - to add to your mixture
a blender
a fine mesh strainer
a container to hold the mask

Chop your avocado and pumpkin into small to medium pieces..it does not have to be perfect. Add the avocado and pumpkin to the blender and blend until you get the consistency that you would like.

Strain the mixture to ensure that you do not have pumpkin or avocado residue in your hair. :D

Then add your EVOO and honey to the mixture.

Stir it up and apply the mixture to damp hair.

Allow your mixture to sit on your hair for 15-20 minutes..rinse, condition your hair and style!

That is it! Your hair should feel extremely hydrated after this treatment!

By the way, you can get creative and add other ingredients! Have fun!

I used the entire mixture for my treatment. You can also use with heat, it is up to you.

I purchased my items from Whole Foods Market..Remember pumpkins are seasonal so you may not see them after the holidays :)
