उत्तरकाशी के सिलक्यारा सुरंग में पिछले 14 दिनों से फंसे 41 श्रमिकों को निकालने के लिए रास्ता बनाने के प्रयास में जारी ड्रिलिंग शुक्रवार को एक बार फिर रोकनी पड़ी जिससे श्रमिकों का इंतजार और बढ़ गया. अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बृहस्पतिवार को अमेरिकी ऑगर मशीन में आई तकनीकी अड़चन के बाद रूकी ड्रिलिंग 24 घंटे बाद शुक्रवार को फिर शुरू की गयी थी.

The ongoing drilling in an attempt to make way for the evacuation of 41 workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel of Uttarkashi for the last 14 days had to be stopped once again on Friday, due to which the wait of the workers increased further. Officials said that drilling, which was halted on Thursday due to a technical glitch in the American auger machine, was resumed after 24 hours on Friday.
