उत्तरकाशी के सिलक्यारा में सुरंग में फंसे 41 मज़दूरों को बाहर निकालने के लिए की जा रही खुदाई में मुश्किल आने के बाद उनके बाहर आने में देरी हो रही है। लेकिन एक रास्ते में मुश्किल आई तो सरकार और प्रशासन ने तीन रास्तों से मज़दूरों को बाहर निकालने का काम शुरू कर दिया है। अब सिलक्यारा छोर की तरफ़ से सुरंग में मैनुअली खुदाई की जाएगी। साथ ही साथ पहाड़ के ऊपर से ड्रिलिंग कर मजदूरों तक पहुंचने की भी योजना पर काम शुरू हो गया है। 30 मीटर से ज़्यादा गहरी बोरिंग की जा चुकी है। वहीं सुरंग के दूसरे छोर यानी बड़कोट छोर से भी माइक्रो टनल बनाई जा रही है ताकि अगर पहला और दूसरा प्लान फेल हुए तो इस रास्ते मजदूरों को बाहर निकाला जाएगा।
