मानसून की दस्तक के बाद से लगातार हो रही बारिश ने तपती गर्मी से राहत जरूर दी है लेकिन अब यह कई राज्यों के लिए आफत बन चुकी है. हिमाचल प्रदेश, पंजाब, बिहार, उत्तराखंड समेत कई राज्यों में नदियां उफान पर हैं. दिल्ली-एनसीआर में भी रुक-रुक कर तेज बारिश हो रही है. सड़कों पर जल-जमाव के कारण यातायात भी बाधित है.

Since the onset of monsoon, the continuous rains have definitely given relief from the scorching heat, but now it has become a disaster for many states. Rivers are in spate in many states including Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Uttarakhand. It is raining intermittently in Delhi-NCR as well. Traffic is also disrupted due to water-logging on the roads.
