Commonwealth Games 2022: कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में भारतीय दल का पहला मेडल आ चुका है. भारत के लिए वेटलिफ्टर संकेत महादेव ने 55 किलो भार वर्ग में सिल्वर मेडल जीता है. इसी के साथ संकेत इस साल कॉमनवेल्थ खेलों में भारत की ओर से कोई भी मेडल जीतने वाले पहले खिलाड़ी बन गए हैं. संकेत गोल्ड जीतने के भी बेहद करीब थे, लेकिन अंत में वो थोड़ा सा पिछड़ गए और स्वर्ण पदक मलेशिया के बिन कसदन मोहम्मद अनीक ने जीता.

With this, Sanket has become the first player to win any medal from India in the Commonwealth Games this year. Sanket was also very close to winning the gold, but in the end he fell a little behind and the gold medal was won by Malaysia's Bin Kasdan Mohamed Anik.
