The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is interacting with the Indian contingent for the Commonwealth Games 2022 via video conferencing today. The interaction will involve the athletes as well as their coaches. The interaction by the Prime Minister is a part of his constant endeavor to motivate the athletes ahead of their participation in major sporting events. Last year, the Prime Minister interacted with the contingent of Indian athletes bound for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as well as the Indian para-athletes for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
