CBI Arrest Shahjahan Sheikh news LIVE: शाहजहां शेख को अरेस्ट करने पहुंची CBI की टीम | Sandeshkhali

- ईडी टीम पर हुए हमले के मास्टरमाइंड शेख शाहजहां को अरेस्ट करने CBI की टीम बंगाल पुलिस मुख्यालय पहुंच गई है. कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट ने साफ कहा है कि उसे जल्द ही सीबीआई को सौंप दिया जाना चाहिए.

- इससे पहले कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट की एक खंडपीठ ने शाहजहां को तत्काल सौंपने के मामले में तेजी से सुनवाई करने की ईडी की याचिका बुधवार को मंजूर कर ली. जस्टिस हरीश टंडन की अध्यक्षता वाली खंडपीठ में याचिका दायर करते हुए ईडी के वकील धीरज त्रिवेदी ने तर्क दिया कि शाहजहां को सीबीआई को सौंपने के लिए चीफ जस्टिस शिवगणम की खंडपीठ ने मंगलवार सुबह साफ आदेश दिया था. बावजूद इसके सीआईडी के अधिकारी ने ऐसा करने से इनकार कर दिया.

- Earlier on Wednesday, a division bench of Calcutta High Court accepted ED's petition for speedy hearing in the case of immediate handing over of Shahjahan. Filing a petition in the division bench headed by Justice Harish Tandon, ED lawyer Dheeraj Trivedi argued that the division bench of Chief Justice Shivaganam had given a clear order on Tuesday morning to hand over Shahjahan to the CBI. Despite this the CID officer refused to do so.
