ब्रूस ली के बारे में सब जानते हैं. इनके दीवाने हर देश में आपको मिल ही जाएंगे. ब्रूस ली की मौत महज 32 साल की उम्र में हो गई थी. इनकी मौत 20 जुलाई 1973 को हुई थी. ब्रूस ली की मौत के 49 साल बाद साइंटिस्ट ने एक बड़ा दावा किया है कि इनके मौत के पीछे का कारण ज्यादा पानी पीना था. इस कंडीशन को मेडिकल टर्म में हाइपोनेट्रेमिया कहते हैं. इसके पहले ब्रूस ली की मौत की वजह मस्तिष्क में सूजन बताया जा रहा था.
साइंटिस्ट के मुताबिक ब्रूस ली की मौत की वजह हाइपोनेट्रेमिया है. जब तरल पदार्थ का ज्यादा सेवन किया जाता है तब हाइपोनेट्रेमिया की समस्या होती है. सोडियम का स्तर जब कम शरीर में कम होता है तो उससे सेल्स( खासकर मस्तिष्क की कोशिकाओं) में में सूजन आ जाती हैं. ब्रूस ली कई ऐसे तरल पदार्थ का सेवन करते थे जिससे प्यास और ज्यादा लगने लगती थी जिसके कारण उन्हें हाइपोनेट्रेमिया हो गया. हाइपोनेट्रेमिया में किडनी बॉडी से पानी नहीं निकल पाता है जिसके कारण लोगों की मृत्यु हो जाती है. ब्रूस ली की मौत की वजह भी यहीं बताई जा रही है.
