सिक्किम की राजधानी गंगटोक में मंगलवार को एवलांच (हिमस्खलन) हुआ। इसमें 6 टूरिस्ट की मौत हो गई और 150 लोगों के बर्फ में फंसे होने की खबर है। मरने वालों में चार पुरुष, एक महिला और एक बच्चा शामिल है। यह घटना दोपहर करीब 12:20 बजे गंगटोक को नाथुला दर्रे से जोड़ने वाले जवाहरलाल नेहरू मार्ग पर हुई है।

पुलिस अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, जहां पर हादसा हुआ, वहां जाने के लिए पास जारी होता है। जहां से पास जारी होता है वहां से 13 मील तक आगे जाने की परमिशन रहती है। बताया जा रहा है कि सैलानी 15 मील तक चले गए थे।

Avalanche occurred in Sikkim's capital Gangtok on Tuesday. In this, 6 tourists died and 150 people are reported to be trapped in the snow. The dead include four men, a woman and a child. The incident took place at around 12:20 pm on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg connecting Gangtok to Nathula Pass.

According to the police officials, the pass is issued to go to the place where the accident took place. From where the pass is issued, there is permission to go ahead up to 13 miles. It is being told that the tourists had gone for 15 miles.
