Bengaluru Idgah case: Supreme Court hearing in Bengaluru Idgah case
Hearing is going on in the Supreme Court today regarding the Idgah ground in Bangalore. The Karnataka government's decision to allow Ganesh Chaturthi has been challenged by the Waqf Board, saying the grounds are its property. The Waqf Board says that Eid prayers are held here since 1964 and worship in the grounds will lead to communal tension.

बेंगलुरु में ईदगाह मैदान को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आज सुनवाई हो रही है. गणेश चतुर्थी की इजाजत देने के कर्नाटक सरकार के फैसले को वक्फ बोर्ड ने चुनौती दी है और कहा है कि मैदान उसकी संपत्ति है. वक्फ बोर्ड का कहना है कि 1964 से यहां ईद की नमाज होती है और मैदान में पूजा से सांप्रदायिक तनाव होगा.
