रूस की राजधानी मॉस्को में विक्ट्री डे परेड के मौक़े पर राष्ट्रपति पुतिन ने परेड की सलामी ली। इस दौरान रूस ने पूरी दुनिया को अपनी ताक़त दिखाई। मॉस्को की गलियों में रूसी सेना के टैंक, हथियार, मिसाइल और जवान निकले तो हज़ारों लोगों ने उनका स्वागत किया। लेकिन सबकी नज़रें तब थम गईं जब 16 पहियों वाले ट्रक पर रूस की इंटरकॉन्टिनेंटल बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल RS24 YARS वहां पहुंची। इस मिसाइल की रेंज 12 हज़ार किलोमीटर तक है और ये अपने साथ एक या दो नहीं बल्कि 10 परमाणु बम ले जाने में सक्षम है। इस महाविनाशक मिसाइल की रेंज में पूरा अमेरिका आता है।
