आर्थिक संकट और विदेशी कर्ज के बोझ से दबे पाकिस्तान की सरकार के सामने एक बहुत बड़ी मुश्किल खड़ी हो गई। पाकिस्तान की सरकार जिस सेना के बूते इतराती है, उसकी हालत पंक्चर हो गई है। एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक पाकिस्तान की सेना ईंधन की कमी से जूझ रही है। सेना के पास ट्रेनिंग रिजर्व फ्यूल और जरूरी साजो-सामान की कमी हो गई है। इसकी वजह से पाकिस्तान आर्मी ने दिसंबर तक सभी तरह के मिलिट्री एक्सरसाइज़ यानि युद्धाभ्यास कैंसिल कर दिए हैं। आंतरिक सैन्य अभ्यास और युद्धाभ्यास के लिए ट्रेनिंग रिज़र्व फ्यूल का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। लेकिन, रूस से सस्ता तेल खरीदने के बावजूद पाकिस्तान के पास ट्रेनिंग रिज़र्व फ्यूल की कमी हो गई है।
