9 मई को पाकिस्तान में इमरान ख़ान की गिरफ़्तारी के बाद हुई हिंसा के बाद सेना के आला अफ़सर ग़ुस्से में हैं। सेना ने इमरान ख़ान, उनकी पार्टी के नेताओं और समर्थकों पर नकेल कसने की पूरी तैयारी कर ली है। यही वजह से पूरे पाकिस्तान में इमरान ख़ान की पार्टी PTI के नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं की गिरफ़्तारियों का दौर जारी है। सेना के ऐक्शन से इमरान समर्थक दहशत हैं और आलम ये है कि तमाम नेता पार्टी छोड़ रहे हैं। दो हफ़्ते में 35 से ज़्यादा नेता PTI से इस्तीफ़ा दे चुके हैं।
