Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has reached her 10 Janpath residence to meet Sonia Gandhi. Sources have given that Gehlot has refused to quit the chief minister's post before becoming the president. Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Thursday (September 29, 2022) confirmed that he will contest the party's presidential poll scheduled next month. The former Madhya Pradesh chief minister collected the nomination papers for the party president election and is likely to file his nomination on Friday.
