असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी को खत लिखकर वर्शिप एक्ट की रक्षा करने को कहा है. उन्होंने लिखा, ' मैंने प्लेसेज ऑफ वर्शिप एक्ट के बारे में पीएमओ को लिखा है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट इस कानून की वैधता को चुनौती देने वाली याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई कर रहा है और उसने केंद्र से रुख साफ करने को कहा है.' ओवैसी ने इस कानून को भारत की विविधता को बनाए रखने वाला बताया है.

Asaduddin Owaisi has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi asking him to protect the Worship Act. He wrote, 'I have written to the PMO about the Places of Worship Act. The Supreme Court is hearing petitions challenging the validity of this law and has asked the Center to clarify its stand. Owaisi has described this law as maintaining the diversity of India.
