Alia who was promoting her upcoming film with the Ishaqzaade actor on a show of UTV stars said, "We were all laughing and chirpy on the set before he entered. Suddenly everyone began to work seriously kyunki actor aa gaya tha (because the hero of the film had arrived)." She further added, "I was star struck."

This is the first time both actors are working together and their fondness towards each other has always been very visible. On Karan Johar's chat show Koffee with Karan, both have been showering praises about each other and it was from here that the rumors of their alleged relationship caught momentum
