The Padmavati controversy has now taken a new dark twist. The body of a man was found hanging inside Jaipur’s Nahargarh Fort, on Friday morning, along with an anti-Padmavati message.
The message written in Hindi on a stone, near the body, ‘Hum sirf putle nahi latkatey, Padmavati (We don’t just hang effigies, Padmavati).’ The deceased has been identified as Chetan and the police probe has revealed that he was strangled using a plastic wire.
While Rajput Karni Sena is protesting against Padmavati, they have distanced themselves from this horrific incident and have claimed that they have no involvement in it.
