Ingredients/ Method
Thai Noodle Wrap Recipe
2-3 tbsp Peanut Butter
2-3 tbsp SOy Sauce
1 pack of cooked plain noodles
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
1/3 cup chopped peanuts/almonds/cashews
Combination of Julienned Cucumber, Carrots, Bell Peppers and cilantro chopped
Salt and Pepper to season and 1- 2 Tortilla Wraps or Whole Wheat Chapati Wrap
- Prepare Noodle Salad by mixing all the ingredients. Let it chill for 10 mins and then fill in the wrap. Close tightly. Let it chill and then cut it in half and serve.
2. Cold Cucumber Salad Wrap
Dressing: Grated Cucumber, Salt, Pepper, Chopped Cilantro and Lemon zest to be added in 2 tbsp of Thick yogurt or plain greek yogurt.
Chop Lettuce. You'll also need thinly sliced- Cucmber, Tomatoes and Cheese of your choice. Salt and Pepper to season.
On a Tortilla Wrap, Spread the dressing, add cucumber, tomato, Cheese and lettuce. Fold the wrap. Allow it to chill. Cut in half and serve.
3. Easy Veggie Wrap
Chop- Mushrooms, bell peppers, Zucchini and onions. Saute them in a little bit of oil and season with salt and pepper. Once done, let the veggies cool down. Add zest of lemon for punch of flavour and freshness and add handful of chopped cilantro. Pack this mixture in your wrap and enjoy chilled or warm.
4- Bonus- Wrap for Kids
On a tortilla wrap, grate some cheese. Cut it in half and microwave so that cheese melts down. Cook Sausages/hot dogs. On the wrap, add ketchup or sauce of your liking , place cooked hot dog on one end and fold. Melted cheese will allow he sausage to stick and you can give it to kids to snack on.
