Keeping in with his tradition of spending Diwali with armed forces, the Prime Minister spent this Diwali with the forces in Kargil. He concluded his address by reciting a poem dedicated to the jawans of the Indian Armed Forces.

PM Modi ने इस साल भी भारतीय जवानों संग दिवाली मनाई. जम्मू-कश्मीर के कारगिल में पीएम मोदी को देखकर सश्त्त्र बलों के जवानों का जोश भी देखते ही बन रहा था. करगिल की धरती पर जवानों के साथ दिवाली मनाने गए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने संबोधन के दौरान कई बड़े बातें बोलीं. उन्होंने एक जोशीली कविता भी सुनाई जिसमें जवानों की तुलना तेजस से की तो कभी ब्रह्मोस जैसी उनकी ललकार बताई.
