Synopsis - Mera Saaya is a 1966 Indian Hindi thriller film directed by Raj Khosla. The film stars Sunil Dutt and Sadhana, director Raj Khosla's third film. The film became a box office success.[2] It is a remake of the Marathi film Pathlaag (The Chase)

Rakesh (Sunil Dutt), a successful lawyer, comes home to find his wife succumbing to a fatal illness, and she dies only a few hours later, but he is soon contacted by a woman claiming to be the same wife he just watched die. The woman (Sadhana) is detained by the police, who believe she is a notorious criminal named Raina, though she does bear a striking resemblance to Rakesh's late wife. Agreeing to act as prosecuting attorney in her case, Rakesh attempts to prove she's not who she says she is.
