Deshhit: मंदिरों में श्रद्धाभाव से आने वाले श्रद्धालु स्वेच्छा से चढ़ावा चढ़ाते हैं. लेकिन अब इस चढ़ावे पर कर्नाटक सरकार ने नए टैक्स लेने का प्रावधान कर दिया है. संत समाज कर्नाटक सरकार से खास नाराज़ हैं. कर्नाटक सरकार के बिल कर्नाटक हिंदू धार्मिक संस्थान और धर्मार्थ बंदोबस्ती बिल 2024 के तहत किसी मंदिर की आय 1 करोड़ रुपए है, तो उसे 10% और यदि मंदिर की आय 1 करोड़ से कम और 10 लाख से अधिक है तो उसे 5% टैक्स कर्नाटक सरकार को चुकाना होगा। बीजेपी ने कर्नाटक सरकार पर अपना खजाना भरने के लिए मंदिरों पर नज़र गढ़ाने का आरोप मढ़ा है। साथ ही इसे मॉडर्न डे का जजिया बता डाला है.

Under Karnataka Government Bill Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Bill 2024, if the income of a temple is Rs 1 crore then it will be taxed at 10% and if the income of the temple is less than Rs 1 crore and more than Rs 10 lakh then it will be taxed at 5% Karnataka Government Will have to be paid. BJP has accused the Karnataka government of eyeing temples to fill its coffers. It has also been described as modern day Jizya.
