Uttar Pradesh में Saharanpur में स्थित इस्लामिक शिक्षा के केंद्र दारुल उलुम देवबंद (Darul Uloom Deoband) द्वारा गजवा-ए-हिन्द को मान्यता देने वाला फतवा जारी किया. इसके बाद NCPCR ने पत्र लिखकर कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए हैं. निर्देश आने के बाद सहारनपुर के जिला अधिकारी ने एसडीएम और सिओ देवबंद को आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने को कहा..

Controversy has increased over the fatwa of Deoband's Darul Uloom in which Ghazwa-e-Hind has been talked about. NCPCR i.e. National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has expressed objection regarding this fatwa issued on the website. And has written a letter to the local administration directing them to take action in the matter and register an FIR.
