Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday vowed to expand ties in areas of defence and security, trade as well as counter-terror cooperation.

Egypt के राष्ट्रपति Abdel Fattah El-Sisi इस गणतंत्र दिवस बतौर मुख्य अतिथि भारत आए हैं. ये पहली बार है जब मिस्र के राष्ट्रपति भारत के गणतंत्र दिवस पर चीफ गेस्ट बनकर आ रहे हैं. मिस्र इस समय आर्थिक संकट से गुजर रहा है और कई अरब देश भी मदद के लिए आगे नहीं आ रहे हैं. हाल ही में भारत ने जब गेहूं पर निर्यात पर पाबंदी लगाई थी, तब भी मिस्र को गेहूं को कई टनों की खेप भेजी थी.
