Atiq Ahmed Live News: Prayagraj MP-MLA Court sentenced mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed to life imprisonment in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on him. Ahmed was on Tuesday held guilty in the kidnapping case by MP-MLA court. The accused in the case were brought to the court amid tight security.

17 साल पुराने उमेश पाल अपहरण मामले में माफिया अतीक अहमद, उसके करीबी शौकत हनीफ, दिनेश पासी को जिला न्यायालय की एमपी एमएलए विशेष न्यायाधीश डॉक्टर दिनेश चंद्र शुक्ला ने उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है. हालांकि अतीक के भाई को कोर्ट ने दोषमुक्त कर दिया है. विशेष अदालत ने आईपीसी की धारा 364 ए के तहत दोषी करार दिया था. विशेष अदालत ने बाकी सभी आरोपियों को इस मामले में दोषमुक्त कर दिया है.
