Yeh Hai Aashiqui - Episode 16 Synopsis:
Rishi wants to be a choreographer and rebels against his father to come to Mumbai. He stays with his best friend Dhruv who then encourages him to participate in a dance reality show. Rishi participates with Dhruv's girlfriend Nandini, a kathak dancer. Dhruv and Nandini have been in a relationship for a couple of years and intend to marry even though Nandini often feels Dhruv doesn't respect her and is insensitive towards her feelings. Rishi and Nandini get through the preliminary round and reach the final ten. Their friendship deepens as Rishi realizes Nandini is a sweet simple girl who believes Dhruv is her soul mate. How ever she is constantly disappointed with him. When Dhruv proposes marriage to Nandini, Nandini instantly says yes but then realizes that it is Rishi and not Dhruv who understands her better and is more sensitive towards her feelings. Even her grandmother feels she should re consider her decision to marry Dhruv. Nandini wonders if she made the right choice
