महिला आरक्षण बिल को लेकर लोकसभा में हो रही चर्चा के बीच ओवैसी का भी बयान आया है. ओवैसी ने मुस्लिम महिलाओं का जिक्र करते हुए बिल पर सवाल उठाए तो संसद में स्मृति ईरानी ने साफ कर दिया कि धर्म के नाम पर आरक्षण नहीं दे सकते.
