Viacom 18 has decided to take legal action against Abhay Deol.

Viacom 18 is seeking compensation of over Rs 2 crore because the music rights of Abhay Deol's One By Two, remained unsold. A few days back, Abhay stood by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of his latest release, and refused to ask them to sign an apparent illegal clause with T-series, due to which the music of the film did not release.

Apparently, because of Deol's refusal to have the clause signed, Viacom 18 lost on the revenue that they would have normally got from the sale of music.

Abhay Deol's latest release One By Two has received a lukewarm response from the audience.
