पश्चिम बंगाल में आए दिन हिंसा होना एक बात सी हो गई है. चाहे चुनाव हो या फिर कोई त्योहार इस दौरान बंगाल में जरूर कोई ना कोई बवाल होता है. और आज भी कुछ ऐसा ही देखने को मिला. दरअसल पश्चिम बंगाल में लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले दिन कूचबिहार में हिंसा देखने को मिली। यहां मतदान शुरू होने के तुरंत बाद सत्तारूढ़ तृणमूल कांग्रेस और भारतीय जनता पार्टी के बीच झड़प की खबरें आने लगीं। शहर के पास चांदमारी गांव में दोनों दलों के कार्यकर्ताओं और समर्थकों के बीच झड़प हो गई। पथराव की भी खबरें सामने आई हैं।
