Published
Representing the pinnacle of Tang dynasty art was the production of high-fired ceramics decorated with white, black, green glazes, or in colorful glazes known as Sancai, which lieterally means ‘three-coloured’ wares. These ceramics were developed to perfection by the mid-Tang period as exemplified by those in the Yangdetang Collection.
