Dilip Kumar's burial will take place on Wednesday evening, it was announced through his official Twitter account. The tweet read, "Burial will be held today at 5 PM at Santa Cruz Cemetery in Juhu, Mumbai". Shabana Azmi was seen visiting her home in Mumbai soon after the news of her death broke.

दिलीप कुमार का अंतिम संस्कार बुधवार शाम में होगा, इसकी घोषणा उनके आधिकारिक ट्विटर अकाउंट के माध्यम से की गई। ट्वीट में लिखा गया, "मुंबई के जुहू स्थित सांता क्रूज़ कब्रिस्तान में आज शाम पांच बजे अंतिम संस्कार किया जाएगा"। शबाना आज़मी को उनकी मृत्यु की खबर सामने आने के तुरंत बाद मुंबई स्थित उनके घर पर जाते हुए देखा गया।
