पीवी सिंधु ने चीन की ही बिंगजियाओ को हराकर दो व्यक्तिगत ओलंपिक पदक जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला बनीं। सिंधु ने कांस्य पदक के मैच में ही बिंगजियाओ को 21-13 और 21-15 से हराया।
