The film is based on Anuja Chauhan’s eponymous novel and revolves around Zoya Solanki, who was born on 25 June, 1983, the day the Indian cricket team lifted the World Cup trophy. As she grows up, Zoya goes through an unlucky patch in both her personal and professional life however, things change completely as she goes with her colleagues to shoot the Indian cricket team in their new jersey.

Lady luck shines upon the team with Zoya’s presence and they begin to win all the games. She eventually falls in love with the team’s skipper Nikhil Khoda, who doesn’t believe in good luck charms. Zoya soon turns into a Goddess of sorts for fans of the Indian cricket team however, when the team starts losing she bears the brunt of it.

Sonam Kapoor is looking fresh and is effervescent as Zoya. However, it’s Dulquer Salmaan, who steals all the limelight with his good looks and drool-worthy abs. Angad Bedi is also playing a cricketer and though he doesn’t have much screen time in the trailer, he is looking dapper. Sonam’s chachu, Sanjay Kapoor is playing her father in the film.

It’s a fun trailer and the film looks entertaining. We will give our final verdict when the Abhishek Sharma-directed film will hit the theaters on September 20.
