फिल्म ‘द करेला स्टोरी’ (The Kerala Story) को लेकर विवाद थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है. बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए पश्चिम बंगाल में फिल्म पर बैन लगा दिया गया है. पश्चिम बंगाल के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने विवादास्पद फिल्म ‘द केरला स्टोरी’ के प्रदर्शन पर तत्काल रोक लगाने का आदेश दिया है, ताकि ‘नफरत और हिंसा की किसी भी घटना’ को टाला जा सके. इससे पहले दिन में, ममता बनर्जी ने कहा था कि ‘द केरला स्टोरी’ में तथ्यों को तोड़-मरोड़ कर पेश किया गया है, जिसका इरादा केरल को बदनाम करना है.

Giving this information, a senior West Bengal official said that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has ordered an immediate ban on the exhibition of the controversial film 'The Kerala Story', so that 'any incident of hatred and violence' can be avoided. Earlier in the day, Mamata Banerjee had said that facts were twisted in 'The Kerala Story', intended to defame Kerala.
