Tarek Atoui is a Lebanese sound artist now living and working in France.
His experimental and performance led compositions use a combination of computer generated electro-acoustic sounds as well as man-made and historical instruments.
Atoui has created a series of new music performances that will take place daily in the South Tank for the first three weeks from the opening of Tate Modern and will be recorded and added to the existing sound recordings to create soundscapes that get richer and more complex over the duration of the show.
