Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the story picks up from where the first one left. It’s been four years since their marriage and Tanu is distraught with this marriage. She wants a break and so moves back to her hometown in India. However, things don’t turn out to be breezy for the Tanu and Manu. Manu wants a divorce and falls for another girl, Datto, who happens to be Tanu’s look alike. How will Tanu win back her love, forms the story of the film. The writer of the film, Himanshu Sharma, has laced the film with ample humor. The story is fresh and refreshing and Sharma is as much the hero of this film as are Tanu, Datto and the director Aanand L. Rai. The film boasts of excellent screenplay and there is not a single dull moment. The songs of the film are equally heartwarming. Kangana with this film gives one more award winning performance.
