How to Contouring your Face

Use a rounded, angled brush with soft bristles for contouring your face.

Apply a shade darker than your skin along the line between your ear and corner of the mouth. Make sure to blend it into your hairline at all times while contouring the face.

Go over your forehead if you want to reduce the size. Contouring is essentially creating shadows to manipulate the appearance of the shape of the face.

Make sure to apply the product under your ears and jawline, taking care to blend it into your neck. This will give your face a sharper, more attractive jawline.

Apply the product using a smaller, rounded brush from the tip of your nose to the beginning of your eyebrow, then under the nostril and in a V shape on your nose.

Don't forget to blend this downwards with your fingers. Take care not to use too much pressure, or that might ruin your base makeup.

Use a soft, angled, blush brush to gently apply blush onto your cheeks.

Use power based colors for highlighting. Ivory tones with shimmer work well for light skin shades, bronze like colors go very well with dusky skin shades for contouring the face.

Apply the highlighting color on the bridge of your nose, forehead, cupid's bow, chin and cheekbones for the full effect.
