Superstar Salman Khan recently campaigned in Sri Lanka for President Mahinda Rajapaksa and this move hasn't gone down well with certain Tamilian groups. Members of one such group on Sunday January 4, 2015 protested outside Galaxy Apartments, Salman's residence in Mumbai. By afternoon, the police took around 10-15 protesters in preventive custody. Rajapaksa is under fire from political parties in Tamil Nadu as he is seen responsible for civilian casualties in the Tamil-dominated areas of Sri Lanka during the war between Lankan army and LTTE in 2009
