पाकिस्तान के आंतरिक मंत्री राणा सनाउल्लाह द्वारा अफगानिस्तान में तहरीक-ए-तालिबान पाकिस्तान (टीटीपी) के ठिकाने के खिलाफ संभावित सैन्य अभियान के संकेत के बाद तालिबान ने सोमवार को पाकिस्तान पर निशाना साधा और करारा जवाब देने की चेतावनी दी। तालिबान नेता और उप प्रधान मंत्री अहमद यासिर ने 1971 के युद्ध के बाद भारत के सामने आत्मसमर्पण करने वाले इस्लामाबाद के ट्विटर पर एक तस्वीर साझा करके पाकिस्तान का मज़ाक उड़ाया, जिसके कारण बांग्लादेश का गठन हुआ।

The Taliban on Monday hit out at Pakistan and warned of a befitting reply after Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah hinted at a possible military operation against Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts in Afghanistan. Taliban leader and deputy prime minister Ahmed Yasir mocked Pakistan by sharing a picture on Twitter of Islamabad surrendering to India after the 1971 war that led to the formation of Bangladesh.
