पंजाब कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू के सलाहकार मलविंदर सिंह माली अपने फेसबुक पोस्ट में कश्मीर को भारत का अभिन्न अंग नहीं मानते हैं. सिद्धू के एक और सलाहकार प्यारेलाल का कहना है कि पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ कुछ मत बोलो क्योंकि ये पंजाब के हित के खिलाफ है. पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह इन दोनों के बयानों की कड़ी आलोचना करते हैं. लेकिन इस पूरे विवाद के बाद अब कांग्रेस पार्टी की चुप्पी पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं.
