ज्ञानवापी सर्वे से तीसरे दिन उस वक्त बड़ा मोड़ आ गया जब हिन्दू पक्ष ने दावा किया कि परिसर में शिवलिंग मिला है. हिन्दू पक्ष ने कहा कि जब तालाब का पानी हटाया गया तो शिवलिंग का ऊपरी हिस्सा दिखा. मुस्लिम पक्ष ने दावे से इनकार किया है.

The Gyanvapi survey took a big turn on the third day when the Hindu side claimed that Shivling was found inside the premises. The Hindu side said that when the water of the pond was drained out, the upper part of the Shivling was visible. The Muslim side has denied the claim.
