तुनिषा शर्मा की सुसाइड मिस्ट्री में लव जिहाद की एंट्री हो गई है। तुनिषा के परिवार का दावा है कि जीशान ने तुनिषा को प्यार में धोखा दिया। उसके कई लड़कियों से अफेयर थे, इसीलिये तुनिषा ने खुदकुशी की। .वहीं सूत्रों के मुताबिक़ पूछताछ में जीशान ने कहा कि श्रद्धा-आफ़ताब केस के बाद वो डर लगा था, कोई हिन्दू मुसलमान विवाद नहीं चाहता था, इसीलिये उसने तुनिषा से ब्रेकअप किया। ये भी कहा कि तुनिषा डिप्रेशन में थी, और एक बार उसने उसे सुसाइड से बचाया भी था। ...मामले में लव जिहाद की एंट्री भी हुई है। महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने कहा है कि लव जिहाद का एंगल हुआ..तो इसकी जांच होगी। कांग्रेस ने आरोप लगाया है कि बीजेपी इसे मज़हबी रंग दे रही है। वहीं बीजेपी सांसद प्रज्ञा ठाकुर ने कहा है कि मुसलमान लड़के को हिन्दू लड़की से प्यार हो ही नहीं सकता, वो जिहाद ही होता है।
