रामनवमी के दिन बंगाल और बिहार में हिंसा हुई थी.इस पूरी हिंसा में कई जगह आगजनी हुई, पत्थर चले. सवाल उठाए गये कि क्या हिन्दुओं को अब अपने ही देश में रामनवमी की यात्रा निकालने के लिये इजाज़त लेनी होगी? लेकिन अब जो ताज़ा हिंसा हुई है वो रामनवमी के उस तनाव के हफ्ते भर बाद की हैं.
